GEIFTH Seeks Help For 14 Years Old Boy With Tumor

Woman whose son has tumor Cries for help.

An elderly woman, Mrs. Margaret Okpomeshina of Umueze, Amaimo in Ikeduru LGA has called on the general public to come to the assistance of her 14 years old son who developed a tumor.
Speaking to the founder of Genius Eyes International Foundation for the Hopeless, Mr Paulcy Cyprian Iwuala, Mrs Margaret said that her son, Uzochukwu, was diagnosed with a tumor known as Amaloblatoma of the left mandible.
According to the poor widow who lost her husband five years ago, the tumor started like a developing tooth some time in January but after a while her son kept complaining of toothache which forced her to take him to a clinic where the doctor prescribed some drugs to help ease the pain.
Speaking in Igbo she asserted that after their visit to the clinic her son kept complaining of continued aching on that part of his mouth, which was when she noticed the swelling on her son's mouth.
"When I saw the swelling I panicked, which was when I realized that something was terribly wrong with my son."
Continuing, she said she took her son to a doctor who confirmed her fears by indicating that her son had a tumor and was at its early stages.
Mrs Okpomeshina says her husband left her with Five Children (three boys and two  girls) adding than she is doing her best to fend for the family by selling bitterness amongst other things.
She begged the general public to come to the help of her family who have suffered immensely since the ailment began.
The 14 years old Uzochukwu a Jss 1 student of Amaimo Community School, said that he knows that there are good Nigerians who can help him and his family overcome their present travail.
Speaking to the men of the press present Mr Paulcy posited that the woman needs  three million naira to have the surgery done here in Nigeria.
He stated that the boy needs help as soon as possible considering that in a few months the problem may escalate and become more difficult to operate on.

DARLINGTON FOUNDATION SPLASHES MILLIONS ON AKABO FOOTBALL LEAGUE, DOLES OUT CASH, FOOD ITEMSTO WIDOWS

This is exactly  what one man achieved this year in the Akabo locality of Ikeduru LGA in Imo State.

The Darlington Foundation founder Chief Darlington Chimezie mesmerized the whole of Imo State and his immediate community of Akabo with his heart  of philanthropy.

 

The Cup Donor, Chief Darlington Chimezie of Ndiokwu-Umuiyi Akabo in Ikeduru LGA raised eyebrows when  it was announced that he was funding the tournament with the sum of 1Million Naira (#1,000000).

 

His milk of kindness has been described by many as extraordinary and by those who witnessed this years give away as exemplary.

Chief Darlington besides the sponsorship of the football competition for the youths of his LGA also touched the lives of widows in his community, with bags of rice, beverages and all of kinds of goodies, while listening to their problems and giving the necessary advice.

 

Speaking, one of the beneficiary, Mrs Ukachu reckoned that the gesture was unprecedented for them. She thanked Mr & Mrs Darlington Chimezie, the founder of “Faith of Darlington Foundation” for their show of genuine love and compassion towards them.
Also speaking, an elder of AkaboTown, Chief Eze, hailed Mr Darlington as "Hope of the Hopeless", saying that his gesture has raised their spirits and given them hope in this festive period.

Responding, Chief Darlington Chimezie ably supported by his amiable wife assured the Windows and the youths of Akabo that he will continue to support them. The Philanthropist who pledged to answer them anytime they call on him, also promised to encourage any youth to attain greatness in chosen carrier especially in sports, education and music.

 

The overwhelmed widows prayed fervently and emotionally to God to protect and shower his blessings on their benefactor, Chief Darlington and wife.

Artistes unite to hold Gospel-Comic Show ‘Imo Laff Session’

In a bid to have all genres of entertainment in Imo State working harmoniously, entertainers have come together under ‘Imo Artistes League’, an organization which is working tireless to take entertainers and entertainment to the next level in the state.

Knowing that entertainers are nothing without events, the League has rolled out its first event tagged ‘Imo Laff Session’, a Gospel-Comic event packaged to meet the needs of both the conservative and contemporary entertainment lovers in the state.
Speaking ahead of the event scheduled for September 23, 2016, the President of the League and even Facilitator, Hon. Iruno Chukwunonye said the event is being package to kick start a new chapter in the entertainment industry of the state.

On why only gospel music artistes were listed on the event he said: “How do you want to start something if not with God. At the end of the day, there will be events for everyone because we have musicians, those in the movies, comedians, DJs, dancers, models and even on-air personalities.

“We are working towards providing a platform for the teaming talented youths who contribute to the socio-economic development of the state. The event will afford Imolites a Godly and humorous atmosphere that will increase their life span. It’s something no one wants to miss”

Speaking further, the prolific Master of Ceremony explained that “We have everyone on board and someday, there will surely be something for everyone. We just want to be different now and everyone will be fighting to make the industry a great one. We must support ourselves and our own because no one will do it for us”

Hon. Iruno further stated that the event will also feature top comedians and dancers, while gospel music maestros Frank Edwards, Buchi, Chinyere Udoma will be headlining the event.

Other artistes listed for the event are Joe Praise, Deac. Chike Okafor, Tonnel Avo, Joseph Adesoji, King J and Obele Jesus.

Ace comedians Gordons, Dan De Humourous and Banana Mouth will be leading a league of comedians comprising of, Apostle Solo, 2Can Talk, MC Egbeigwe, Laffin Gas, Uncle O, Prince White, Preye, T Boy, Shedrack & Meshak, Broda Bossman and Paul & Silas.

The current arrow of entertainment in the state hailed the efforts of some members who are working tirelessly to see that the event is success, especially the Leauge’s Publicty Secretary, Mr. Tonygreg Ukaegbu aka MC Banana Mouth, urging Imolites and others who can make it to the event not to miss it, because it will be a lifetime experience.
