Aisha Alhassan Becomes First Female Governor In Nigeria As Taraba State Election Tribunal Sacks PDP’s Darius Ishaka

A Governorship election tribunal sitting in Taraba state has sacked the PDP’s Darius Ishaka as governor of the state and declared APC’s Aisha Alhassan the winner of the April 11th governorship election.

As a result of this new development, Mrs Aisha Alhassan is now the first female state governor in Nigeria.
